What is the Port Washington Ghost Walk?

The Port Washington Ghost Walk explores historic downtown Port Washington, WI through stories rooted in lived experiences and long-term investigations. Over the course of the evening, we share a wide range of accounts, including...

We do not present urban legends. Every story shared on the walk came directly to Caper Company from someone who experienced it.

Tickets
  • $15.00 per person - all ages​
  • $17.00 per person - October 17
  • TBD per person - October 30 and 31
Beginning and Ending
  • 6:00 pm
  • Ends around 8:00 pm
Check-in:
  • Check-in starts at 5:45pm
  • If you can't find your guide, call or text Susan at 262-498-5777.
Length & Accessibility:
  • The walk is about 90 minutes to 2 hours and is entirely outdoors.
  • Lots of walking, including stairs, and is not ADA accessible.
  • If you'd like an ADA-friendly version, contact Susan. 
Starting Location:
  • The ghost walk starts and ends in front of Eclectic Avenue at 226 N Franklin Street 
  • Note: If you've ghost walked with us in the past, our starting and ending point has changed. We aren't currently including Union Cemetery as part of our regular ghost walk. If you're interested in Union, contact Susan to ask about it.
Weather:
  • Nights by Lake Michigan can be chilly. Dress in layers and bring a coat.
  • The tour is entirely outdoors, so check the weather and prepare.
  • If the weather is severe, the guide will wait until as close to 6pm as possible and then decide if we're going to cancel. If we cancel, you will receive a refund. If you choose not to attend but the tour is not canceled, refunds are not available.
Scare Factor:
  • Expect a mild to moderate level of spookiness, No jump scares or costumes. The stories are based on real paranormal experiences.

  • No physical tickets are issued. Your name will be on our list when you arrive.
