Port Washington Ghost Walk

​The Port Washington WI Ghost Walk explores the historic downtown and nearby Union Cemetery.
We will share a great variety of stories.

Cost:
  • $20 per person
When:
  • Saturdays from June 14 through September 13, 2025
  • ​6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - all tours, every night
Group size:
  • Maximum of 12 guests per ghost walk
How Often:
  • One ghost walk per night

  • Recommended for ages 13 and up.

Everything else you need to know about your Summer 2025 Port Washington Ghost Walk...

Check-in:
  • Check-in starts 15 minutes before your walk.
  • If you can't find your guide, call or text Susan at 262-498-5777.
Length & Accessibility:
  • The walk lasts about 2 hours and is entirely outdoors.
  • It involves a lot of walking, including stairs, and is not ADA accessible.
  • If you need an ADA-friendly version, contact Susan. We may be able to adjust the route the evening of your ghost walk.
Location:
  • Starts at Union Cemetery and ends near Dockside Deli at 218 E Main Street - details on finding us are below / on this page.
Transportation:
  • After exploring Union Cemetery, you'll need to drive downtown for the rest of the walk, so have a car available for your group.
  • Caper Company does not provide transportation.
Weather:
  • Nights by Lake Michigan can be chilly—dress in layers and bring a coat.
  • The tour is entirely outdoors, so prepare for the weather.
  • If the weather is severe, the guide will decide about cancellations close to the start time. If we cancel, you will receive a refund. If you choose not to attend but the tour is not canceled, refunds are not available.
Scare Factor:
  • Expect a mild to moderate level of spookiness—no jump scares or costumes. The stories are based on real paranormal experiences.
Tickets:
  • No physical tickets are issued—your name will be on our list when you arrive.

We start in Union Cemetery... 

Meeting Point:
  • The ghost walk starts at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.
  • The cemetery is bordered by Chestnut Street at the north end. Look for the stone steps near the intersection of Chestnut and Park Streets.

Important Notes:
  • If using GPS, it may direct you to the Keeney Street entrance. Please do not enter or park there.
  • Instead, continue to Chestnut Street—there’s plenty of street parking available.

Continuing the Walk:
  • After exploring Union Cemetery, you'll drive downtown to park near Dockside Deli (218 E Main Street).
